Baptism
26 years ago today, on 1 August 1989, I got baptized as the beginning of my own Christianity.
Now I'm not in that, nevertheless I'm proud of my hope for mutual faith.

We sang in harmony the best ever and "I ♥ YOU"
We, I and my two students, whom I gave nicknames of “Bidon”("metal barrel" in Turkish) and “Boncuk”("bead" in Turkish) to mention our blogposts, sang in harmony the best ever on Monday the 8th v(^^)(^^)(^^)v
Especially the song “Yoru wa Hoşi wo Nagamete okure” of Tegomass we sang again and again :)
And we talked about trying to harmonize with Tegomass's songs “Sayonara ni Sayonara” “Kiss (Kaerimichi no Love Song)” “Hanamuke” which Bidon introduced to us :)

The episode #3 we have already reached
I mentioned a Japanese animation “Love Live!” to my students on Saturday the 6th again.
And I told them "The we of today seem like this."

One student was surprised to look at this picture.
But when I told them "This is a scene of the episode #3.", they seemed to realize it.
Yes, the episode #3 we have already reached.
The drama has already been in progress.
They had already seemed to realize that they must take voluntary actions when I had mentioned “Love Live!” at first or explained the plot I had understood watching the video I had mentioned before.
Needless to say, I don't want to force anyone who has no want to come back.
They understand the need of the discrimination.
Whoever wants to come back will feel alienated from us with sadness as if treated as an outsider unless invited as this drama progresses.
Then we remembered each and every thirty students plus especially one person individually.
And I told them that superficial relationship means only performance concealing true hearts - self deceptions -, someone may seriously have no desire of superficial association and no courage to have heart-to-heart communication in spite of their invitation like the characters' of “Love Live!” and they would clear the way for the trust relationship, which is the supreme purpose for me to restart Awaya-Juku, when they took their courage to face and show their true hearts and caused problems to overcome.
So we may have reached the entrance of the trust relationship yet.
One student left this here.

I think that Bidon shows everybody who come here his welcome message.

The roles of our sites and blogs
It was shown by Google Analytics that they had taken three or five minutes on average to stay in one of our blogs.
I was glad to think that they had read my posts seriously.
On the other hand, It also showed that they had not read my writings of our sites very much.
But it was shown that some reports of my students had been read for ten minutes or more on average there.
It made me filled with happiness :)
Now according to that, I am revising the roles of our sites and blogs.
For example, the sites for the summaries, the blogs for the explanations in detail.
So I tried to make this below.
The video below is one of Chopin nocturnes.
My mother used to give piano lessons to her students in our house in my childhood.
I used to listen to the sounds of piano everyday.
I must feel comfortable with them for this reason.
And one of my students also like this nocturne.

The resemblances between our juku and “Love Live!”
We affirmed much more dependable unity with my students in last Monday's class.
One student, who has the less relationships with the other students of mine of the two, also expressed the same emotion as the other's and mine suddenly.
It has been clear that we ourselves want the breakaway members to come back with the same emotion.
Actually I had mentioned a Japanese animation “Love Live!” to the two in last Saturday's and Sunday's classes.
In fact, I had not known it at all.
In spite of that, the student who likes it had mentioned it to me again and again.
So I had decided to watch it.
But I had not had much time to do.
Then I had found the video clip shortened three months' series "Season 1" to thirty minutes, so I could have watched it.
This is the one I had watched. But Japanese-only....
And the second one explains “Love Live!” in English.

I had been amazed at the story.
Because it had resembled our situation at Awaya-Juku.
The girls who had started up "School Idol Project" had done solitary, spent distressing time not to increase the number of members, and the rest of the menbers had concealed their desires to be a member of them pretending not to be at first.
Moreover most of them had needed invitations of the others to be a member of them....
I had realized that the student who likes it had thought seriously when I had told them these in last Saturday's and Sunday's classes.
He had already told me "It is not images of girls that I like".
But It had not been clear for us what the other had felt or thought.
Then, on last Monday, as soon as he came here, he began to speak of the one of the breakaway members.
It has been clear that we ourselves want them to come back with the same emotion in this way.
How happy I was!

But, on the other hand, to my regret, I also expect unhappy and sad results.
Because my experiences show me that most of the breakaway students from me have forgotten me, that is to say their experiences with me or who I have been.
The two have told me "No one has talked to us like you around us."
I think that it is the reason.
Needless to say, anyone forgetting me will not come back.
But the ones who stay on my side will be the core of the members.
I consider that the members who they were are only a ragtag crowd.
At those times every students and parents did not recognize the importance and significance of our idiosyncrasy of Awaya-Juku.
Boomerangs will be no longer the one of ragtag crowd.
Because they will join us again with their own wills after they look at our consistent and hopeful endurance, that is to say the importance and significance of our idiosyncrasy.
So the time has come for me to look at my real students and parents and real Awaya-Juku owing to the experience of overcoming a big problem!
What will be there after that?
Actually I think that this will be not only a private educational institution but also a research institution as Japanese jukus in nineteenth century or before were.
I save this topic for another day.

I had one more hopeful thing after last Monday.
I told one of the two on a SNS that our recent difficulty is required for the establishment of our real trust relationship.
That is to say the graduation from thin relationships generally named "trust relationships" like fakes or platings and the entry to our real trust relationship.
And now, we have arrived at the entrance!
Certain someone said "Tough times bring opportunity."
For reference:

Rejecting SELF DECEPTION
I gave my students a brief lecture about "not dissembling oneself" "rejecting SELF DECEPTION" in yesterday's class.
This is the another side of "rejecting OSTRICH POLICY or ESCAPISM", which I have emphasized in these days.
Moreover it is what I have emphasized throughout Awaya-Juku in Yokosuka.
It needs "dissembling oneself" "SELF DECEPTION" to believe prepared peers, arranged situations or forced impressions as ones of one's own choices.
On the other hand, they really experience ones of their own choices in this juku.
But it is not easy for them to choose such experiences in this age and world currently, especially in this community here.
No one must experience them around them.
But they, my students, have won courage and mental power here ever.
They make them look directly at the unknown things, overcome anxieties and build self-confidences with strong WILLs.
So I am sure of their "not dissembling oneself" "rejecting SELF DECEPTION".
They must make the story come true themselves without any arrangements.
I expect it of them.
